Dakota Fanning is one young lady who has always seemed to know her own mind; in more recent years, Dakota Fanning has taken roles in movies such as Hound Dog ((2006), Push (2009) and The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009) that have shown her developing maturity and are a world away from her early movie roles such as Dreamer (2005) and War of the Worlds (2005).
Dakota Fanning celebrated her 16th birthday on Tuesday 23rd February 2010 and with it came a changing fashion style, common amongst many teenage girls. Last month, Dakota was featured on the cover of V magazine in a Bridget Bardot lookalike photo in a pose that made her look older than her years; this month she stepped out in style and was photographed in more casual ’teenage’ attire.
Dakota Fanning said in V magazine:
“I think that when you’re in the public eye, you automatically become a role model, because people are reading about you and looking at pictures of stuff you’ve done.”
