Danica Patrick may have a NASCAR victory in her future, AP photo
Danica Patrick, who made her NASCAR debut at Daytona on February 13 2010, races for the last time at Las Vegas (in the current NASCAR series) today, February 27 2010. With a large following of fans, Danica Patrick hit the NASCAR circuit with high expections, following her previous stock car racing wins. However, her Daytona NASCAR debut ended in a car wreck and last weekend she finished 31st in California.
Danica Patrick may not have taken the NASCAR racing circuit by the storm predicted - yet - but she had this to say about her previous performances, according to a report in the Las Vegas Sun:
“The more I drive the car the better….There’s no end to how much learning you can do.”
She also said:
“What I learned last weekend was not having goals and thinking ‘I just want to go as fast as I can up front’, was probably not going to happen.”
This may be Danica Patrick’s last appearance on the NASCAR cicruit for now – but no doubt she will be back for more soon!
