Following on from her stock car racing debut at ARCA Race Daytona on Saturday February 6th 2010, Danica Patrick has just announced that she will be making her NASCAR debut next weekend; Danica Patrick finished sixth in her ARCA Race Daytona debut.

Although I am not a racing car fan, Danica Patrick is making both an impression and a name for herself in a pre-dominately male environment, so much so that it is difficult to not know who she is at the moment; if you google her name, or put her name into any of the top internet search engines, you’ll find masses of information on this lady at the moment.

Danica Patrick may not have won the ARCA Race Daytona last Saturday but she both ‘wowed’ the crowds with her performance and gained the press’ attention.  Danica Patrick  spun off the track into former Formula One driver Nelson Piquet, but came fighting back to finish the race in sixth place, after being, at one point in the race, in the top five.   In Danica’s own words:

“It was really cool to come back into the top five again. So at that point I said, ‘What the heck.  I’m not going to win sitting right here. I made it this far , so let’s see what else I can do.’”

It may not have paid off for her this time, but there’s always next time.  The guys may just have to move over to make room for this ‘hot, young newbie’ on the racing track… :)

Danica Patrick will make her NASCAR Daytona debut on Saturday February 13th 2010, scheduled to be shown on ESPN (1 pm EST)

Thank you Dating Guru – good luck with your blog! It takes time and a lot of work, but I also like the freedom of my own writing ‘style’ on blogs, in comparision to other magazines I write for :)

  3. i may not have decided this was awesome a couple of years back however it is crazy precisely how age alters the means by which you understand distinctive concepts, thanks with regard to the write-up it is nice to go through something smart once in a while in lieu of the common nonsense mascarading as a blog on the internet, cheers
