The campaign to get Betty White onto Saturday Night Live has succeeded; at 88 years old, Betty White has proven she is currently the ‘hottest’ lady out there, with thousands following her campaign on facebook for hosting Saturday Night Live! Although it hasn’t been confirmed when and in what capacity Betty White will be appearing on Saturday Night Live, Betty had this to say about the news:
“I don’t know why or how…but it’s been wonderful.”
Betty White has enjoyed a long career, which doesn’t appear to be about to end any time soon. She recently starred in the movie The Proposal (2009), with Oscar winner Sandra Bullock, and featured in a Superbowl ad for Snickers. She received a Lifetime Achievement Honor at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January – with her re-appearance into the spotlight, she may be heading for a second one!
