Singer Katy Perry, 25, may be “Waking up in Vegas” as the hottest “Californian Gurl”‘ today – because she has knocked last year’s Maxim Magazines’ Hot 100 winner Olivia Wilde to 20th place to claim the number one “top hottie” spot. Other contenders for the title included Sports Illustrated’s Brooklyn Decker, actress Angelina Jolie and Victoria Secret’s Angel Marisa Miller.
Maxim magazine’s editor-in-chief, Joe Levy, had this to say about why Katy Perry won the number one spot:
“It’s that feeling you get when you suddenly realize that the smartest, funniest, coolest girl you know also happens to be the best looking and a pretty skateboarder, too.”
The “Hot 100″ list will be included in the June issue of Maxim magazine which is out tomorrow, Tuesday May 11, 2010.
