British Airways “Admits Mistake” Over a Boarding Pass for Bin Laden

British Airways may be grounding thousands of travelers in its current labor disputes and strike actions, but one of the world’s most wanted terrorists apparently has a boarding pass to fly “British”.  A photo of a boarding pass bearing Osama Bin Laden’s name appeared in British Airways’ internal staff magazine for London Heathrow Airport in a demonstration of their new mobile boarding pass system.

British Airway officials are not admitting to how the “error” occurred although they admitted “a mistake has been made.”  Current speculation is that it was a prank which went wrong – or a former British Airways employee who was trying to get back at the company.  Add the latest “scandal” to the millions of dollars/pounds in lost revenue over worker’s strikes and you could say that British Airways has had better days…  :)
