The home where Marilyn Monroe was found dead in 1962 is up for sale – for $3.6 million. Marilyn Monroe bought the property in Brentwood, Los Angeles for $90,000. The Spanish colonial style house was built in 1929 and is 2,624 square feet with 23,000 square feet of outdoor space, including a swimming pool. The home is hidden behind tall gates but it is expected to stir up interest amongst Marilyn Monroe fans, despite the length of time since her death.
New Marilyn Monroe writings are also scheduled to be released in October, giving an insight into the woman behind the “blonde persona.”
Marilyn Monroe’s death was officially recorded as suicide although many think otherwise.
