All good things have to come to an end. The movie-going public have seen Emma Watson, who played Hermione in the Harry Potter movies, transform from an unknown British school girl to a budding rock chick; just as Kristen Stewart transformed from her early years as Sarah Altman in The Panic Room (2002), with Jodie Foster, to love- angst Bella in the Twilight movies.
Both Kristen Stewart and Emma Watson have literally “grown up” in front of the movie-going public, in a similar way as rising young star Dakota Fanning (who also stars in the latter Twilight movies). Emma Watson has just completed her first year at Brown’s University in the U.S. and recently starred in a rock music video for a “friend”. Kristen Stewart just completed a role in The Runaways (2010) and is set to tackle more dark, daring roles with Welcome to the Rileys, where she stars as a young teenage stripper (see below).
