Tennis star Venus Williams always seems to make a big impact on the court – and I’m talking in fashion terms, rather than a reference to her tennis techniques! At this year’s French Open tennis tournament, Venus appeared in a distracting risque black number that had some eyes focused more on her derriere than her tennis 
So it should come as no surprise that in yesterday’s U.S. Open tennis match against Shahar Peer, Venus Williams appeared on court in a dazzling, sequin outfit.
Once again, the “unconventional” tennis outfit, gave glimpses of Venus’ knickers, causing distraction to the tennis commentors:
John McEnroe: “I think that dress has distracted (Venus)”
Dick Enberg: “It’s distracting you.”
John McEnroe: “That’s a fair point.”

Venus however, despite the tugging and preening of her tennis outfit, didn’t appear to be distracted completely- she went on to win the match in three sets. Others argued that her sequin dress was causing her problems that weren’t tennis related Either way, I’m sure that this is not the last “unconventional” outfit we will see on court on Venus Williams….
